Apotheco Inc. is a health and business consulting company lead by CEO and Principal Consultant, Brian A. Carter, an experienced pharmacist and business executive.

Apotheco Inc. was established in June 2021, to help organizations be successful at the intersection of health, business, and technology – where digital health meets real patients.

We have a passion for exploring and understanding how new  technologies can provide value for both patients and businesses in the health and wellness sector.

We have a wide range of capabilities in digital health, patient engagement, clinical content development and business strategy.

Apotheco uses a Discovery approach to generate a deep understanding of your business challenge/opportunity from the perspective of all your key stakeholders. We want to ensure we clearly understand your business needs in the context of unmet patient needs with input from health care providers and others.

DRIVE the RESEARCH

Apotheco engages in both primary and secondary research to provide the necessary knowledge base in the context of your challenge/opportunity. We develop and deploy surveys, assist in requirements gathering, and provide answers to your questions. If you need clinical and scientific literature reviewed and summarized, we do that too.

DISCUSS the ALTERNATIVES

Apotheco believes in constant communication with its clients. Once we complete the research phase, and before we finalize our strategic recommendations, we sit down with you to discuss what we have learned. Together, we discuss and strategize your next steps.

DEVISE THE STRATEGY

Apotheco uses its broad health system expertise as a foundation for helping you to develop and implement effective strategies. We help to distill complicated topics into understandable and actionable steps that move you closer to your goals.

Where are you located? Answer: We are located in Western Canada in Kelowna, British Columbia, with Associates in Vancouver and Edmonton.

What if I have a small project that I need some help with – would you still be interested? Answer: Yes, we are interested in projects of all sizes, budgets, timeframes and complexities.

What is your usual fee? Answer: Our fee structure may vary depending on the size and complexity of the task and the contribution of each consultant or associate to the deliverables.

I am not sure what I need, only that I have to do something. Can you still help? Answer: Yes, our specialty lies in figuring out the right problem to solve or the right opportunity to pursue. If we can’t help you, we will say so, and try to find another firm that you can work with.

Do you only do work in Canada, or also in other countries? Answer: We have a particular focus and expertise in the Canadian health system. That said, we do have international experience and have worked in the US and the UK. There really are no boundaries.
