Dr. Clare Hooper

Expert in Human Computer Interaction

Dr. Clare Hooper holds a doctorate in computer science and has over 15 years of experience in human computer interaction, sociotechnical research, and user experience. She is a leader in the web science community, bridging stakeholders from industry and academia. Clare recently served as programme co-chair of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Web Science conference. Clare takes a mixed methods approach to research, excelling at both qualitative and quantitative research. She has led large international projects (500,000+ Euros) over multiple countries, has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and owns 4 patents. Clare offers a range of strategic skills, connections and experience both locally and internationally.

Dr. Heather Mann

Expert in Behavioral Economics

Dr. Heather Mann is a behavioural scientist and customer engagement expert, motivated to support the transition to an economy that operates within social and planetary boundaries. She holds a PhD in Psychology and has additional training in sustainability for business and conflict facilitation. Heather has 6+ years’ experience in strategic business roles, helping organizations develop their strategy, engage their customers, build key partnerships, and measure their impact. She has worked with a range of clients in tech, healthcare, telecommunications, and social service sectors. As the first hire on the strategy team for one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech startups, Heather engaged with enterprise clients to develop customer engagement campaigns reaching over 2 million users. She believes effective collaboration is key to addressing 21st century challenges and creating a sustainable economy that works for all.

Dr. Katie Bishop

Expert in Clinical Content

Dr. Katie Bishop is a registered pharmacist holding a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of British Columbia and a BSc.(Honours) in Health Sciences from Wilfrid Laurier University. As a community pharmacist she provides front-line care to patients by identifying and solving their drug therapy problems. Katie’s strengths include detailed clinical knowledge of therapeutics and pharmacology. As a clinical content expert, she specializes in researching, writing, and editing clinical content for health care professionals and for patients. She is a blossoming content creator in digital health, with an uncanny knack for plain talk about complex subjects. She believes in empowering patients’ understanding and autonomy in managing their own health.
